Biodiversity Resources

Welcome.  This is an area we are working to develop as biodiversity related resources are provided to us by groups in Letterkenny.  These resources will be suitable for adults and children.  If you have any information you would like to add please feel free to email us HERE or contact Co-chairpersons Gerard McCormick at (074) 9121409 or Brian McCormick at (074) 9127833.

This booklet was produced by Emma Carr 1st Letterkenny Scouts & Caolan Boyle 5^th Donegal Errigal County – both winners of the 2019 Young Environmentalists of the Year, Jim Mc Cormick Memorial Letterkenny Tidy Towns award.

Emma and Cáolan created this booklet towards their Chief Scout Award as part of their work with 1st Letterkenny Scout Group.  All the photographs were taken by Emma either in her own garden or around the town in Letterkenny. They both wrote the text as an easy to use guide – and what a wonderful job!  Well done to both.
