RUNNING
There are many keen runners in Letterkenny, and everyone is catered for, from the weekly 5km ‘Park Run’ to the Donegal Marathon, and every distance in between. There are two running tracks, at the old and new leisure centres, and the Letterkenny Athletic Club are a good source of information on everything from organised events to good running routes. Highlights of the running calendar include the North West 10k in May and the Donegal Half Marathon in August. Note that all of the above events are subject to change or cancellation in 2020, but will no doubt all be back in 2021!
