SHOPPING
Letterkenny is a blend of authentic and modern and a key centre for shopping in the North West
Enjoy an authentic shopping experience on Letterkenny Main Street where local companies sell everything from food to clothes or household goods. You can also enjoy our nationally and internationally well-known stores in the nearby shopping complexes. Plans are afoot to increasingly link both shopping locations via footpaths, which will enhance our visitor shopping experience all the more.

Shop LK, supporting local shops and businesses
This initiative is organised by the Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce, known as “Shop LK Shop Locally”, which aims to support Letterkenny’s business community by encouraging local residents to use the local shops and businesses.
Letterkenny Main Street and the Historic Cathedral Quarter
As a visitor, we would recommend Main Street as your first port of call. Stroll down the road, take in the atmosphere, and admire the historic buildings around the town square and the Cathedral Quarter. Visit some of the shops, and maybe pop in for a coffee, a pint or a meal at one of the many fine coffee shops, pubs and restaurants.
